Hi, it's Evangelina here at etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Rack here on our 2019 Jeep Compass Now this is a really good premium bike rack if you have, let's say heavy electric bikes or you have alternate frame bikes and you want all the nice, wonderful premium features. One of those features is that it can tilt away. To do so, you pull this lever right over here and this tilts down and you'll want to do this if you want to access your hatch. So you can see here how there's plenty of room between our door and our handlebars that allows us to like get into our trunk, where you put things away, grab our bags, grab our water, grab whatever we need all without taking off our bikes. So it's a very nice convenient solution. And to bring it back to position, you could just lift it up and that lever snaps into place. more

Now this is a really good bike rack if you need something that's versatile and it's actually pretty affordable but it has all the nice features that you may want for your bike rides. Now, the way this works is that one of its features is that it can tilt away. To do so, you can just step on this lever right over here and this tilts the bike rack down and you'll want to do this if you want to access your hatch on your car. So you can see here that there's plenty of room between our door and our bike handlebars, allowing us to maybe put things away, grab our bike helmets, our bags, our water, all without having to take our bike off. more

Now, I really like this bike rack because of how versatile it is. As well as if you are carrying around a bunch of children's bikes and adult bikes I really like the way it is shaped, to accommodate a family of cyclists. So if you do wanna take your bike off your bike rack, you can see how it is mounted by one, two, three step straps. You have two on top tube, and one down here on the bottom that works kind of like an anti-sway strap. more

Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack Review - 2014 Jeep Compass- Video

What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Transfer V2 on our 2014 Jeep Compass. If you're looking to get a really versatile bike rack that's gonna be great for your carbon fiber bikes and also some of your fat tire bikes, this one is going to be ideal just because we're gonna have 60 pounds per bike and we have the option of putting it on a fifth wheel, travel trailer, motor home or a flat towed vehicle. This carries two bikes but we do have an optional add-on to add one more bike under here. The only thing that's gonna change is obviously the distance that it's gonna add to the back of your vehicle but also it's gonna cut down that weight capacity to 40 pounds. A nice feature that comes with some bike racks and I really look for in a bike rack is the tilting feature. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Jeep Compass- Video

Today in our 2018 Jeep Compass, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider Platform Style 2-Bike Rack. That's part number HR200Z.I've already got it loaded up, just to give you a good idea of what it looks like on your Compass and show you how it's going to hold our bikes. Now, it actually holds our bikes by their top tube. The rubber-coated frame hook goes over that top tube, puts down pressure into those cradles. And then, in the cradles, we've got a hook and loop strap. So, not a bad way to carry our bikes.You can see here, it's nice and solid. more
